Today started a little later than yesterday. Talked to Tommy this morning and he asked if we were by the 10 free way, I didn’t know, but after about a 10 minute ride to Kerrville I rode right under it, so I guess we were right by it. We made a wrong turn and ended up on the 1340 I think. It was great though, we saw a 2/3 size Stonehenge, some model girl was taking pictures so of course we got some great shots. After our wrong turn we finally got on the “Three Sisters”, so it’s official we have all ridden them now. Its great doing it on a bike, it might be corny but you really get to experience all the road, sights, smells… all of it. If you get a chance go to the Vanderpool Motorcycle Museum website. We stopped late in the day there and meet a cool old guy from Australia. We talked to him a long time about the different bikes. We saw a J.A.P. speedway bike there, and told him how Skip use to race, so he put on a DVD of speedway. Really fun day though, great roads and beautiful scenery. Had great weather all day, sun and high clouds. Pulled into Bandera without a drop. We were all pretty tired so we decided to take the truck back into town for dinner and good thing because it opened up and poured on us. Good lighting storm knocked the power out in town and so we sat on the porch of the bbq place and watched the rain. Fun just to hangout. Oh and talking to Tracy and Greg tonight saw the International Space Station! No idea it was coming over, but great viewing! JR
